Ferns St Aidan’s have dumped reigning champions Naomh Eanna out of the running in this year’s Wexford SHC.
An impressive Ferns side prevailed on a scoreline of 1-21 to 0-12 at Wexford Park.
With Paul Morris, Ian Byrne and Johnny Dwyer prominent, St Aidan's led by 0-11 to 0-8 at the halfway stage and ended up with 12 points to spare over the holders.
Elsewhere, St Martin’s edged out Glynn-Barntown on a scoreline of 2-19 to 1-19.
Tomorrow’s quarter-final fixtures pits Shelmaliers versus St Anne’s and Rapparees against Rathnure.
