Cuala's Sean Drummond

GoFundMe page has been set up to help a young Dublin GAA player with his recovery from a traumatic brain injury.

Cuala clubman Sean Drummond suffered life-changing injuries last March when he was involved in an accident in London. He has fought through countless surgeries and challenges since then, and in July was transferred to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in London. Sean has started a programme of rehabilitation. He will need further rehabilitation courses and may need specialist equipment as he strives to overcome his injuries.

Over €52,000 of a €400,000 goal has already been raised for the young Cuala footballer, while a separate fundraising event, which will include a mixed tag rugby tournament. will be held at the club's grounds in Dalkey tomorrow.
