Galway boss Micheál Donoghue has gone for seven changes in personnel for Sunday’s clash with Dublin in Salthill.

Following his side’s shock draw with Carlow last time out, Donoghue has well and truly wielded the axe and brought in both Niall Burke and Gearoid McInerney for their first starts of the season following recent All-Ireland success with Oranmore-Maree.

The other five coming are Fergal Flannery in goal, Jack Grealish, Ronan Burke and Kevin Hussey in defence, with Sean Bleahene starting at number 12.

Colm Callanan, Darren Morrissey, Jack Fitzpatrick, Greg Lally, Johnny Coen, Sean Kilduff and Thomas Monaghan lose out for the Leinster champions.

Throw-in at Pearse Stadium is at 2pm.

Galway (HL1B v Dublin): Fergal Flannery; Jack Grealish, Ronan Burke, Aidan Harte; Kevin Hussey, Padraic Mannion, Gearoid McInerney; Cathal Mannion, Sean Loftus; Niall Burke, Joe Canning, Sean Bleahene; Brian Concannon, Jason Flynn, Davy Glennon
