Kerry forward Sean O’Shea says he’s delighted to see Tommy Walsh back in the Munster champions’ squad.

Peter Keane’s charges are currently gearing up for their National League campaign which throws in against Tyrone in Killarney on January 27th and UCC student O’Shea hopes that Walsh can spearhead the Kingdom’s attack in 2019.

“It’s very good to have Tommy Walsh back,” the centre-forward stated at the Electric Ireland Higher Education 2019 GAA season launch.

“He’s obviously been playing very well for his club and he’s moving very well so he’ll be a great asset for us this year.

“We’ve only been getting back into it now the last few weeks so it’s hard to gauge how fellas are going but it’s great to have him around the place.”

He added: “Coming back from Australia he has the professional background as well, he’d have learned a lot over there. Even the knowledge he has from back there could be good for us.”
