Munster Rugby will roll out the red carpet for Limerick’s All-Ireland winning heroes on Saturday, October 27 at Thomond Park.

The Limerick Leader reports that captain Declan Hannon and his team-mates have been invited to attend the round seven PRO 14 game against Glasgow Warriors and will be introduced to the crowd at half-time.

Last month, members of Cork’s All-Ireland winning camogie team were honoured at half-time of the PRO 14 round three clash against Ospreys in Musgrave Park.

It had been signposted shortly after the All-Ireland win that Limerick's hurling heroes would be welcomed to Thomand Park but it was simply a matter of scheduling when.
