Who would join Dublin in the 2018 All-Ireland SFC final? Tyrone and Monaghan did battle in the second semi-final at Croke Park.

The game was a repeat of the Ulster quarter-final from exactly twelve weeks ago, which the Farney County won by 1-18 to 1-16 in Omagh. Another close contest was in prospect as these neighbouring counties crossed paths again with a massive prize on the line.

Both sides had impressed since crashing out of Ulster, but which of them would progress to next month's Sam Maguire Cup decider?

Meanwhile, Monaghan supporters making the journey to the capital along the N2 could also cheer on their minor team in the curtain-raiser, where Monaghan and Kerry collided for the right to meet Galway in the All-Ireland MFC final.
