Shane O'Donnell says Clare's hurlers want to get their hands on some silverware.

The Banner County have negotiated the round-robin stage of the new-look Munster SHC to seal a second successive provincial final date with Cork. They're aiming for a first Munster title in 20 years and O'Donnell believes it's imperative that they bag a trophy:

"It's been a long time since we had success. We feel this is a better earned Munster final place than it was last year, but we certainly want to get our hands on silverware," he told the Irish Daily Mirror.

"Leagues and that stuff are great and all, but Munster championship and All-Ireland finals are really what you are looking for when you start hurling at the start of the year.

"It will be a massive game, Cork are a great team but we are coming good."
