Snow forecast for All-Ireland Club finals

The GAA may have to redeploy the undersoil pitch heating at Croke Park ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland Club deciders.
One of the enduring images of the recent snowstorm that brought the nation to a standstill was an aerial view of the capital that displayed the city coated in a blanket of white, apart from Croker, which was still green as the undersoil heating remained switched on for the duration of the cold snap.
Now Met Eireann have confirmed that another Siberian front is set to drift in across eastern counties on St Patrick's Day, when Corofin face Nemo Rangers and Na Piarsaigh take on Cuala in the Club finals at HQ.
"St Patrick's weekend will be very cold. Saturday will be dry in many areas, with some bright or sunny spells, but scattered showers will occur, mainly in eastern coastal counties and along the south coast," according to the national forecaster.
"Some of the showers will be of rain or sleet, but some snow showers will occur also. Snow showers will become more frequent along east and southeast coasts later Saturday."
Although there appears to be no danger of any games being called off, it will remain bitterly cold for the weekend's national football and hurling league games on Saturday and Sunday.
