Clement Cunniffe's six-minute hat-trick for Leitrim against Cavan in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday may well have been the quickest ever in inter-county hurling.

The long-serving full forward scored 4-6 in all, with his hat-trick coming between the 27th and 33rd minutes. The Iraqi-born Zak Moradi also chipped in with 2-4 as Leitrim ran out facile 6-21 to 3-7 winners to set up an Allianz League Division 3B final date with Lancashire.
