Corofin (Galway) 3-8

Fulham Irish (London) 1-4

Hot favourites Corofin recovered from a shaky start to comfortably account for Fulham Irish in today's rearranged All-Ireland club SFC quarter-final at Ruislip.

Marty Hughes bagged an early goal as the hosts came flying out of the starting blocks to lead by 1-1 to 0-0 after five minutes. But a 10th minute Liam Silke penalty settled the Connacht champions who went on to lead by 3-3 to 1-3 at half-time thanks to further goals from Colin Brady and Ian Burke in the 13th and 28th minutes respectively.

A Michael Lundy point was cancelled out by a Sean O'Sullivan free short after the restart, but the London kingpins wouldn't score again as Kevin O'Brien's men pulled clear with unanswered points from Jason Leonard, Cathal Silke, Ronan Steede and Martin Farragher.

Corofin, who made a wasted journey to McGovern Park before Christmas, can now look forward to an All-Ireland semi-final against Leinster champions Moorefield next month.
