There was no shortage of football talking points over the weekend, here is our team of the week…
1. Paddy Collum (Longford)
The Longford netminder's short kick-out strategy worked a treat against Meath while there was nothing he could do about the Royal County's second-half goal.
2. Killian Daly (Westmeath)
Daly produced a solid outing as the Lake County qualified for the O'Byrne Cup decider courtesy of a 1-9 to 1-7 victory over neighbours Offaly.
3. Aaron McKay (Armagh)
McKay and his Orchard County defensive colleagues restricted Derry to seven points from play at the Athletic Grounds.
4. Sean Mullooly (Roscommon)
The Rossies qualified for the FBD league final for the fourth year in-a-row thanks to a three point win over Mayo in Dr Hyde Park.
5. Michael Quinn (Longford)
Denis Connerton's side lost out to Meath in a free 'shoot out' but manager Denis Connerton will have been pleased with Quinn's performance.
6. Cian Donohue (Offaly)
The Faithful County's number six caught they eye despite their two point defeat to the Lake County.
7. Paddy Durcan (Mayo)
The attacking half-back got forward to kick a point and was one of Mayo's stand-out players in their loss to Roscommon.
8. Bryan Menton (Meath)
The Donaghmore/Ashbourne clubman kicked two points as Meath came from behind against Longford to book an O'Byrne Cup final ticket.
9. Denis Corroon (Westmeath)
The Mullingar Shamrocks player found the target with 1-1 for Colin Kelly's side in Cusack Park.
10. Shay Millar (Down)
The Mourne County half-forward walked away with the 'man-of-the-match' accolade following their eight point success over Ulster University.
11. Eimhin Courtney (Clare)
Courtney led the Banner County fight-back against Cork with 0-3 but, ultimately, his efforts proved to be in vain.
12. Aidan Forker (Armagh)
Forker used his experience to telling effect against the Oak Leaf County and was selected as the game's 'man-of-the-match'.
13. Dessie Conneely (Galway)
The youngster bagged two goals in the 3-6 to 0-8 win over Leitrim as the Tribesmen advanced to another FBD League final.
14. Patrick McBrearty (Donegal)
The Kilcar sharpshooter landed 1-8 (0-4) frees in their high-scoring Dr McKenna Cup win over Monaghan at Clones.
15. Stephen Sherlock (Cork)
The Rebels got their hands on the McGrath Cup silverware after Sherlock's stoppage time goal snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
