Team news: Galway reveal selection for Sligo trip

Galway manager Kevin Walsh has revealed his starting 15 for tomorrow night's FBD League opener against Sligo in Tourlestrane.

Johnny Duane, who returned to the Tribesmen's squad last year after a stint in the US, starts at centre-back for the Division 2 champions while Seán Andy Ó Ceallaigh is named at full-back and Thomas Flynn and Kieran Duggan partner one another at midfield.

Patrick Sweeney leads the attack at full-forward - flanked by Frankie Burke and Cortoon Shamrocks' Adrian Varley - while Peter Cooke of Moycullen starts on 'the 40'.

Throw-in is at 7pm.
