Kilrea ended Crossmaglen's reign as Ulster club minor football champions with a 1-14 to 0-13 victory at the St. Paul's GAA grounds in Belfast on Saturday.

Paddy Quigg scored 1-6 for the Derry side who led by 1-6 to 0-6 at half-time. The holders regained parity early in the second half through points from Rian O'Neill, corner back Aaron Smylie and Shane McConville before the Padraig Pearses finished with a flourish.

In the weekend's other game, two late goals from substitute Gavin Greene handed Enniskillen Gaels a 2-12 to 0-11 win over Cavan champions Crosserlough.

Next weekend will see Kilrea taking on Naomh Conaill of Donegal, with Burren (Down) facing Dunloy (Antrim) and Corduff (Monaghan) meeting Carrickmore (Tyrone) in the other quarter-finals.

Enniskillen await the winners of the Burren v Dunloy clash in the semi-final on December 18.
