McNulty: "Some of them are at the Euros"

The Armagh team before the clash with Laois in Portlaoise.

Justin McNulty fears some Armagh players will miss the refixed Qualifier against Laois as they have traveled to Euro 2016 in France.

The CCCC has ordered that the O'Moore County and the Orchard County must meet again on Saturday week after Laois were found to have made one too many substitutions in the original fixture.

But former Armagh footballer and Laois manager McNulty says the border county will be missing a number of players due to the soccer and injuries:

"Some of them are at the Euros and they've picked up injuries. Mark Shields has gone with a broken hand, Ciarán McKeever actually broke his foot on Tuesday playing with Parnells in Dublin and James Morgan has gone for a long-standing operation so those are three key defenders out," he told The Irish Examiner.

"It's hard to gauge whether Armagh have the appetite for this game or not. It's going to be a huge challenge to bring things back together after the disappointment of the defeat to Laois."
