Jarlath Burns braved the elements to umpire a ladies football challenge match between his club Silverbridge and Louth's Roche Emmets last night - a week before he battles it out with Larry McCarthy, Jim Bolger, Jerry O'Sullivan and Mick Rock for the GAA presidency.
Win, lose or draw, the former Armagh captain and current Silverbridge secretary is unlikely to forget where he's come from.
TweetThis time next week we’ll know if he’s President of @officialgaa but tonight he’s umpire at our ladies match. Best of luck Jarlath. pic.twitter.com/iqTML2ztTX
