Former Armagh All-Ireland winner and SDLP MLA Justin McNulty has raised his concerns about a lack of TV coverage of games in the North with GAA director-general Tom Ryan.

BBC Northern Ireland only televised a handful of Ulster SFC games this summer, while geo-blocking meant GAA followers north of the border were unable to view The Sunday Game highlights show on RTE2 on June 17.

"Tom and his senior team are acutely aware of the issues surrounding the lack of coverage of Gaelic games, particularly those involved in Ulster football, and have agreed to review all their games coverage at the end of this year's championship," McNulty told the Irish News.

"We stressed that it is imperative that lessons are learned about the lack of coverage of both RTE and BBC and that this must not be repeated."
