Armagh captain Rory Grugan could be set to miss his county's Ulster SFC quarter-final against Fermanagh in Enniskillen next month.

The Belfast Telegraph reports that Grugan has sustained an elbow injury whilst on club duty with Ballymacnab recently and is now racing to be fit for the showdown with the Ernesiders on May 19th.

The Orchard skipper lined-out against Fermanagh at Croke Park at the end of last month as Kieran McGeeney's side edged the Ulster derby at headquarters to take home the Division 3 title.

Elsewhere, experienced defender Mark Shields has returned from injury after missing out on his county's league success three-and-a-half weeks ago.
