All-Ireland MHC: Young Dubs back on track

July 22, 2017

Two second-half goals from Fionn Murray helped Dublin minors to victory in Enniscorthy

Dublin bounced back from the disappointment of losing the Leinster final to Kilkenny with a win over Antrim in this evening's All-Ireland MHC quarter-final in Newry.

The team in sky blue progressed to the last four thanks to a commanding 2-20 to 0-11 victory over the Saffrons.

Fintan Clandillon's team bossed the exchanges right from the throw-in and raced into a 0-10 to 0-3 lead by the halfway stage.

Two second half Sean Currie goals applied the gloss to a fine all-round team performance.

The full-forward also accounted for 13 points of his side's tally and their reward is a return to Croke Park for a semi-final date with Munster champions Cork which is fixed to be played on Sunday, August 13th.
