Cushendall defeated St Johns at the second time of asking to set up a familiar Antrim SHC final pairing with Loughgiel in two weeks' time.
Two goals from man-of-the-match Conor Carson proved crucial as the Ruairí Ógs qualifed for their sixth successive county decider following a 2-16 to 3-11 victory over the Johnnies in Ballycastle yesterday.
The city outfit, who haven't reached the senior final since 1994, pressed their opponents all the way. A Conor Johnston goal in the fourth minute of injury-time left a point between the sides.
However, Emmet Laverty steadied Cushendall nerves with a point from a long-range free. They will now meet the Shamrocks at the McQuillan Park venue on 28 October.
