Lough Lene Gaels turned in a very good performance to overcome Brownstown in this fixture, a round 3 fixture of Division 1 of the Senior Camogie League, played on Sunday April 28th, at Archerstown.

 

Westmeath - Electric Ireland All Ireland Minor B Camogie Sheild winners

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere congratulations to Westmeath's Minor Grade camogie panel of players, its player representatives in particular, and the team management, on winning the 2024 All Ireland Electric Ireland Minor B Sheild Camogie competition, defeating Meath in the final of that competition. 

Westmeath 4.11 Meath.2.07, was the match result of the final, played at the Coralstown/Kinnegad GFC grounds, Kinnegad, on Sunday last, April 28th.

 

U16  D1 Camogie championship - Round 1

 

Lough Lene Gaels played Castlepollard in a Round 1 fixture of Division 1 of the U16 Camogie Championship on Monday evening, April 22nd. The match result of that fixture was in favour of Lough Lene Gaels. Divisional fixtures in this competition will be played on a single round format.

 

Clothing Collection Fundraising Exercise 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club has a fundraising event, in the format of a clothing collection ongoing.

U12 Age Category Camogie News

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club played its first scheduled fixture of the 2024 playing season, Lough Lene Gaels v St Brigid's, at Rochfortbridge on Wednesday evening, April 24th. 

The match result of that fixture was in favour of Lough Lene Gaels.

 

Westmeath - All Ireland U16 B Camogie Sheild winners 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere congratulations to the Westmeath U16 Grade Camogie panel of players, its own player representatives in particular, and the team management, on the winning of the All Ireland U16 B Camogie Sheild competition. 

Westmeath defeated Kildare in.the final of that competition, played at Rathleague, Laois on Saturday April 27th. 

Westmeath 4.06 Kildare 1.12, was the match result of last Saturday's fixture.

 

U10/U8 Age Categories Camogie news

 

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club U10 and U8 panels of players, and their respective team managements, made the journey to Ringtown on Saturday April 27th, to play matches, under the title of "GO GAMES" in both age categories. 

Both Lough Lene Gaels teams played matches on a single round format versus their counterparts of Ringtown, Brownstown and Cullion. 

Lough Lene Gaels teams, in both grades of Camogie, played superbly in each and every match that they played at Ringtown. 

Well done to all the players of both Lough Lene Gaels panels of players, and their respective team managements, on the very high standard of their performances in all matches played!
