2024 Senior A  Hurling Championship 

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club is one of six clubs entered for participation in the 2024 Senior A Hurling Championship competition, alongside Castlepollard, Castletown Geoghegan, Clonkill, Raharney, and St Oliver Plunketts. 

The format of this competition is that of a single division league format, with all divisional fixtures to be played on a single round format. 

Following the completion of the playing of all scheduled fixtures in the divisional phase of this competition, the club placed in first place, will qualify for the 2024 Westmeath SHC A final. 

The clubs placed in second and third places, will contest a semi final fixture of this competition. The club finishing in sixth and last place, will be a participating club in the 2025 Westmeath SHC B competition.

Naming of hurling/Camogie grounds - Friday May 17th

 

The Collinstown Hurling and Camogie grounds, will be officially named as Decotek Park, at an event at that location, which takes place on Friday of this week, May 17th, with a 6pm starting time. 

There will be many attractions for family members of all ages at this naming event, which is open to the general public to attend.

 

Lotto Draw 

 

Numbers drawn at a lotto draw, held for a jackpot of €2100 on Sunday night May 12th, were 1, 6, 27, 28. The jackpot was not won, and neither did any ticket entered into this draw match any 3 of the numbers that were drawn. 

A subsequent draw for four (4) prizes of €25 each were:

Next lotto draw at Collinstown Hall on Sunday night, May 26th.at 9.15pm. Jackpot is €2200.
