Replying To BarneyGrant:  "Good win by the under 20s against Galway in the Leinster semi final last night.

Hammered them and only for some errant shooting the margin might have been 20.

Playing a very good Offaly team in the final in Portlaoise next Wednesday. Offaly team is very strong but another performance like that from our fellas might do the trick and get them to an All Ireland final."
Some fine hurlers on that Dublin team alright - Kenny, Purcell, O'Dúlaing.. Nice to see a lot of the lads speaking in Irish too , C Eoin I presume.

Left that behind. Great display. Back being serious contenders whatever way it falls next week.

Wexford hammering Carlow clarifies things. We have to beat Galway next week and prize will be a final place not just third.

Not that concerned actually if we don't get a third spot if we get beaten by Galway as that would most likely be followed by a defeat by the Munster beaten finalists. So, need to be beating the big teams in Leinster really to earn the right to be considered other than mathematical contenders.

Next Sunday is effectively Dublin's All Ireland. Throw the kitchen sink at it.

Finally, regarding the steps before the Cats goal. Should have closed that game out after the Hayes goal so would not have mattered and in any event we got a call ourselves against Carlow for what was most likely a square ball. Swings and roundabouts.

Good year relatively so far and hopefully one or other or both minors and 20s will win a Leinster and make an All Ireland final, at least.

Congrats to Longford tonight. Far the better side from what I could see, they're an excellent unit.
Dubs were poor in attack, looked clueless and did not tackle well like the Longford forwards.

Comiserations on last night lads. We're obviously delighted with the win but it was a right tough game and ye made it difficult for us. All the best for the rest of the year.

Longford murdered us in that second half and those silly missed chances in the first killed us. We made too basic mistakes and had our pocket picked way too many times thanks to Longford's intensity. Some smashing footballers on that Longford team and they looked fit as fiddles. Some points from Cian O'Donnell. Looks like a baller. Let's hope Longford can kick-on now.

Fair play - Longford fully deserve the victory and be Leinster Champions.
Well done to all concerned. Enjoy the celebrations.

I see Offaly are odds-on favourites for the Leinster u20 Hurling Final tonight @ 4/6

Looking like 15,000 attendance is on the cards,

Hopefully Dublin put in a good performance and we have a great Final.

I know the FODH are running a bus, thanks, Was looking to see if there wee any clubs doing same as FODH are offering to give them 200 towards it.

Be small Dublin crowd one way or other and probably a couple of hundred tonight to be well numbered by Offaly,

Offaly deservedly favourites on previous encounters at this grade and minor but a repeat of last week against Galway would at very least give Dublin a chance. Be great to win a Leinster of some grade this year.

Congrats Offaly. Back to Back Leinster u20 hurling champions.

Their goal in the 1st half turned the tide. Dublin were well in control until then.
It definitely spurred the Offaly lads on.

We lost by 3pts but we also missed a Penalty - good save by the goalie.

Not sure what the stewards were at, allowing 2 pitch invasions before the end of the game.
They need to do better than that or else play games elsewhere. H&S should be all over this....

Youthful exuberance is one thing but to stop the game twice in a Final...

Anyway, enjoy the celebrations Offaly. Massive support there last night. well done.

Very sorry to hear Evan C is out for the rest of the season.

That dreaded ACL injury strikes again.

Minor hurlers playing Kilkenny tomorrow in final. Beat them three weeks ago but will need to be even better tomorrow. Great chance all the same. Be favourites if bookies took bets on it.

Fecking dreadful luck

Hopefully his recovery goes well, he's a genuinely sound fella to boot.

Talented man, he'll be missed, anything happens to Cluxton and we are badly exposed in a vital position.

In advance of this afternoon I will say this once ever. Up the dubs.

13/1 for a Wexford Dublin Leinster hurling final. Let's make it happen.

It would be great! I fancy your chances and might have a punt on that. Ours is in lap of Gods, Needs a performance such as they've not shown for ten years. Both teams be treating this like a final as its potential winner takes all, loser finished for the year.

Weather in Salthill might be a factor it seems if forecast remains accurate. Wind down there is sometimes worth 7/8 points a half and with rain added might be less like Summer than it ought to be.
